Adobe launched it's Creative Cloud service today. At $49.99 per month if you sign up for a year, or $74.99 month-to-month, Adobe provides a hub for making, sharing and delivering creative work, centered around Adobe Creative Suite 6 software, packed with design, Web, video and digital imaging tools. According to Adobe, CS6 point product subscriptions will also be available May 11.

Membership to the Adobe Creative Cloud delivers access to download and install all CS6 applications, new HTML5 desktop products, Adobe Muse 1.0 and Adobe Edge preview, deep integration with Adobe Touch Apps, 20GB of storage with sharing of content across desktop, mobile devices and the cloud, and finally - integrated website publishing and hosting.

Now does this make more sense than shelling out close to $2600/- for the full software package? For one, it gives new creative startups a great way to enter the fray, and if you're bringing new creative staff on board and given the frequency of change in the industry -  the choice should be a no-brainer.
